Nanoq
Outside of Jakobstad lies Finland's first Arctic museum, Nanoq, which offers visitors a chance to get to know Arctic peoples, cultures, and customs.
On the museum grounds interesting buildings from the Arctic have been recreated, such as a turf house from northern Greenland, Henry Rudi's trappers cabin, a gold panner's camp, and the world's most northerly church. There is also a new exhibit on display every summer.
